Holistic counselors provide an ongoing partnership designed to help people produce holistic
(mind, body and spirit) results in their personal and professional lives. We help people and
organizations improve their performance and enhance the quality of their lives. We are trained
to listen, to observe and to customize the holistic approach to individuals and organizations.

We seek holistic (mind, body and spirit) solutions and strategies from the client; we believe the
client is naturally creative and resourceful. The Holistic Coach's job is to provide honest
support to enhance the skills, resources and creativity that the person already has.

Holistic Counseling  

The focus of holistic counseling will address the healing of mind, body and spirit, which will
focus on the psychological, physical and spiritual nature of the individual. The therapeutic
process will focus on the holistic healing of issues rooted in the past, or issues related to
abuse, addictions, and other self-defeating behaviors.

In addition, Holistic Counseling Training offers optional six-month courses in:

(7) Career Coaching for students interested in pursuing recovery counseling certification.
The Recovery Counseling Training Program is a six-month training program. Taught by
exceptional, seasoned clinician coaches, the program teaches people in recovery to quickly
develop the counseling skills and marketing strategies to build a part-time or full-time
counseling practice.

The course emphasizes:

(1) State-of-the-art individual and group counseling skills;

(2) Marketing that is congruent with the student’s personality and values; and

(3) Ethics and risk management.

The training includes rich social support from fellow clinicians and is entirely taught by
teleconference (all you need is a phone).

Bill W's training academy offers mentoring and coaching opportunities for people who want a
career in the substance abuse industry. We also offer career development and supervision to
those professionals who want to become all that they are capable of becoming. Substance abuse
professionals need  to take charge of their own counseling careers.
